A Poem About the People That We Love
As a kid, i was fascinated with her face because i grew up in an old, white part of glasgow. I didn't have any teachers that were any teachers at all h look like me. And so i kind of made an imaginary family up for myself,. imagining a family that had mod the black people in it. So when i was writing this book, i was trying to remember that exact feeling as a child. We can really fasten on to peopleand and they become part of us. That's not something that's often written.
