Harold Von Braunhut's Jewish Ancestry

The Anti-Defamation League had cut wind of rumors about von Braunhut's Jewish ancestry years before the Washington Post article. It had been a topic of discussion and suspicion among the far right largely due to his prominent nose. He continued to attend Aryan Nations gatherings on at least a yearly basis throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s. More than once, he lit the burning cross that signified the height of festivities.
