Introduction
Scientists are now seeing evidence from multiple invertebrate species that casts doubt on earlier assumptions. In a recent study, matilda gibbons and lars chitka of queen mary university of london set up an experiment to see if bumble bees would endure high temperatures to get to a sugary treat. The results raise the possibility of a capacity for pain in bumble bees.
