No amount of gathering more evidence about the world allows us to extrapolate general truths. What we have are problems that's where we begin our ideas at times fail to account for what is out there in the world. To resolve this clash of ideas between what we think and what we observe well then we have to use our imaginations to conjecture guess into existence a new and better explanation.
