The Impact of Climate Change on Sport
I think people are speaking out of turn. You can't play many of these sports if we have catastrophic climate change. Last week, in March in Melbourne, we had a 38-degree day. It's just so unusual to have that sort of weather at that time of year. This is all actually, it's not an indirect issue for something like sport. My child has been trying to play cricket in 39, 40 degrees. Climate change is not okay. For the elite athletes and your kids as well. We call it often the sum of the extreme weather season.
