Tessel is a small Linux computer that runs Node.js, but not all microcontrollers can run it because of architecture and memory limitations. Most people are going for something like the ESP 32 or Pico W to get around these issues. The Raspberry Pi Foundation foundation needs to find a way to ramp up manufacturing so manufacturers can embed them in their devices as well.
In this supper club episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk with Nick Hehr about the fun ways to get started with micro controllers, writing JavaScript for hardware, and ideas for projects to build involving hardware and software.
