The China Merchant Energy Shipping Company's Super Tanker Could Reduce Fuel Consumption by 10 Percent

The China merchant energy shipping company has rolled out a 333 meter super tanker with four 40 meter carbon fiber composite blades or sales for them 1200 square feet altogether. Estimates say that it could reduce fuel consumption by almost 10 percent, which could amount to a whopping 2,900 tons of carbon dioxide, not released every trip.
