I enjoy it in some ways enjoy holding the complex tension there. If I play the game of being the Heidegger apologist, he seems to me he thought maybe the National Socialist Revolutions were an opportunity to philosophically steer a major nation. And I see how he might desire to preserve the poetry of life from the hegemony of the international modernist order and side with this anti modernist experiment. But when the modernist order becomes concentrated in the figure of the Jew, then it becomes kind of morally and emotionally intolerable for me. So all of that is in the mix of how I feel about it.
