I think I resonate a lot with the people that want to do good for the whole world and are very concerned about these large complex global problems. It's not that what we do doesn't matter, but that it's hard to predict how we will impact the world in advance. So instead, I want my life to be a benefit. And so I try to do my best at the scales that I have control over - which are really moment to moment things,. But also involve my time and energy and my values.
