Lassa: I'm prohibited by the rules of my trust that I can't really own more than a 5% weighting in any one name. But unlike a mutual fund, where the turnover selling for cash creates a tax consequence for the investor, the way ETFs are structured, they avoid the tax consequence. Lassa: My largest thing is an OUSA, which is the core of very large cap high quality given in paying stocks. He says he usesETFs now instead of having stock pickers on his fixed income and equities portfolios.
