The History of the Autobots and Decepticons
In 1984, Hasbro released the first line of Transformers toys. The story wouldn't be fully revealed until the cartoon series premiered two years later in 1986. Out of these 28 toys, 11 of the Autobots would transform into characters like Bumblebee and Jazz. For the Decepticons, three would turn into planes, Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker.
