Even within physics, there's always been this understanding that there's a fundamental theory which we might not have yet. And then there are pragmatic theories like mechanics. So the universe is fundamentally quantum but we still use these continuum theories which are classical to do work. I think one of the things that we can learn from that in relation to the current moment is that there are going to be theories that help us understand how the world really is and then there'll be models that we use in our everyday liveslike for example machine learning models.
