What's the Meaning of Flattery Seekers in the Qumran?
In the commentary on Nahum that we found among the Dead Sea Scrolls, they quote this verse. This is where it gets really interesting and how people are making scripture apply to themselves. The Qumran community viewed the Pharisees as people who were making religion easy with no expectations. And when the glory of Judah is made manifest, the simple-hearted folk of Ephraim will withdraw from their company.
