On the Android side, I've been seeing more of a movement to de-Google an Android device. There are actual mobile operating systems that are out there. And you can explore this where you can load your own operating system on your Android phone and it doesn't have any Google anything. It's an interesting idea too because that's essentially what you're talking about is jail breaking.
