The Armada De Maluca
The Armada had lost its leader, Magellan and those who would have stepped into the power vacuum had been killed on Sabu. The survivors of San Antonio spun a tail rife with anti-Majellan and anti-Portuguese embellishments. On May 6, 1521, just as the Armada was limping through the Philippine Islands, some 8,000 miles away, San Antonio arrived in Seville. But we know better, the fleet is not lost, and even though Magellan has met in his demise, we are not going to abandon the fleet either. It is a thrilling and harrowing tale that you do not want to miss.
