When was the first time in your life that it scared the shit out of you? I think it was when I had a tarot deck stolen. And I actually used the Tanglefoot charm from Mastering Witchcraft or a variant thereof to bind up the bowels of whoever stole it until it was returned. That happened right around the time also that I was doing work with Astaroth, who oversees America.
