The Importance of Death
Many first century Jews did have a hope for the resurrection and they hoped for a general resurrection at the end of time. Nobody was expecting just one guy in the middle of time to happen to come back. So those I think are some of the some of the best reasons that I think it's reasonable to believe that Jesus rose from the dead. It means that death does not have the last word. By death, he conquered death into those in the grave. He granted life.
