The Mission of the Church in the New Testament

Most of us don't have extended families any more. The church should be a rescue boat that is picking up those folks and say, come on board hereor we'll be the exanted family. That is the central mission of the church in the 20 first century. I met a man in nigeria one time who had 600 relatives he knew quite well. They were going to take their new baby for a walk with all its ebos - cousins not much older than it was.
