Lithium Ion Batteries for Cars - Grid Storage

The most provocative thing here is how long the energy will last in its solid state, which to day's batteries just straight up can't do. Battery storages is a huge problem. We really are only going to be using batteries for the next 20 years, or something like that, foro very temporary dispenses of energies. The good thing about grid storage is that it doesn't have to be energy dense. You know, does it caus you're not carrying it around anywhere? It could be heavy, and it could be big. There's lots of avenues of research but we're not there yet.
