The Fossils, a Book Review

There are no parents. These girls have no parents and they kind of choose, that's that lovely bit that you read. It's quite a subversive book if you read it on that point of view. You feel this growing tension out there of the depression. I also think there's something going on. There's a kind of proto pop group thing going on. They're called the fossils. That in and of itself is a brilliant name. But also because they have different specialisms and they come from different places. They are like little bands. She does a series of books which are a band,. the Gemma books, Gemma and Sisters. So she does go on and do that
