The anglo saxo s did not build buildings in stone. They just built timber and earthwork houses, including round houses and small shrines. It's extremely hard to even find the remains or imprints of where they once were. You have to somehow discern post holes in the earth with very subtle differences in shades of dirt. There is really nothing from the anglo saxon age that in any way compares to roman buildings,. Even many pre roman iron age sites have bigger, more dramatic imprints.
