The Benefits of Observational Distance

The key thing about observational distance, if we get a view on our thoughts, gosh, we're in such a better position to be more flexible. A lot of the time when we get stuck or rigid is when we just don't observe our thinking. There is like thoughts can be a bit like having really, really light, transparent, just about invisible glasses that you sort of pop on. Just like glasses, the influence, what you see. They change it sometimes. It's helpful. Sometimes it's not.
