The Evolution of Eugenics in America

Indiana's legislature passed a sterilization law based on eugenic principles 1907 folks here first we have the first eugenics sterilization law not Nazi Germany happened to your first part of American history that I think often gets overlooked. And that only gained steam in the decades to follow by the 19 teens and 1920s you had the elite institutions like Yale Princeton Harvard all these other places teaching courses oneugenic science. There were lots of marriage restriction legislation moving through the states, all based on e Eugenics principles. This was considered what the most enlightened people believed.
