The poem praises the young man's sort of beauty and carisma. It describes him as, quote, a man in hue, all hues in his controlling. So you could say here there's an implicit comparison being set up right away. But why would this mean that heis an actor? And clearly shakespeare is drawn to him and is attract to him. I would speculate maybe was drawn to theatre because he was drawn to young androgenous men who performed in female roles.
