Discussion on Lifting Face Mask Mandates in Medical Facilities

This chapter explores the recent changes in coronavirus mandates in Taiwan, particularly the lifting of mandatory face masks in medical facilities excluding hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Despite stable COVID-19 conditions prompting this decision, there remains a suggested practice of mask-wearing in medical and elderly welfare facilities, with potential resistance from the medical community and ingrained wearing habits in hospitals noted.
