Neurologic Symptoms

A 27 year old male with mild braided cardia and then acute onset bilateral symmetric, both upper and lower extremity profound weakness. One out of five in his bilateral lower extremities, both the sole and proximal muscles. And he's a reflexive in all four extremities. So first I'm thinking about that this sounds like a lower motor neuron phenomenon because of the weakness. The only thing you need to consider though is if the muscle is profoundly weak, like might be the case in this exam, you might not even have the muscle strength to have a contraction.
