The Importance of Disclosure in Advertising
There's probably a thousand companies involved in the internet ad ecosystem and only two of them have done anything. And yes, Google and Facebook are the two biggest, but they are not a monopoly despite what a number of people in DC say these days. So it seems like things like these sort of honest ads, act approach of mandating disclosure of who's funding the ad, who the ad is coming from makes a lot of sense if disclosure is an adequate remedy.
