Palliative Care for the Elderly

Sick, elderly patients often don't know much about the possibility of palative care. We still have a system of reimbursement which explicitly values surgical procedures more than talking to someone about what matters. The dartmouth atlas project has been studying how medic care and medicate resources are used across the country.
