I've Paid Off My Student Loans and I Don't Know What to Do About It

i think a lot of it has to do with the moralizing and the pull yourself by your boot straps, you need to have personal responsibility kind of mentality that we have here in the states. And so if anyone asks for leniency or common sense reform to a student loan policy, well, they're just considered lazy or entitled or whatever. But yes, like the fact that 93 % of it is owned by the us. Government, thati doesn't really need that money. It could just eena wave its hand and all that would go away. I would say theres no moral argument to be made. We're just addicted to debt in the united states at this point.
