The Sowelke Corridor and the Russian Operation in Ukraine
The Sowelke Gap is a 100km long land bridge between the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad and Belarus. NATO has long been preparing for exactly this way back in 2016. It held an exercise called Anaconda inside Poland, which was designed to counter any such move. The corridor runs along the Poland-Lithuania border.
