Quantum Mechanics Is a Lot Simpler Than You'd Think, Right?

Quantum information is a generalization of the rules of probability themselves. We have to calculate probabilities using a different kind of number called amplitudes. Say an amplitude can be positive or negative, and they can even be complex numbers. The main way that quantum mechanics differs from those of classical physics is that these amplitudes can interfere with each other.
