I don't think you're really going to notice this difference in most situations and most people's homes. The only thing is ever going to have to be doing streaming music, which is never going to take up a lot of bandwidth. So that's why this device only has 802.11n I think is because it's in the watch hardware. That doesn't matter at all in practice for this kind of product. so it'll be fine.
