Edward Teller and his family fled from Hungary during the Second World War. He was a key part of the Manhattan Project who helped deliver the hydrogen bomb. In 1952, he demonstrated that fusion energy could be used to generate power. A young scientist called John Knuckles asked him if he would drop these bombs into a mountain side.
