Rogue Supermassive Black Hole in Space
It's certainly possible that they're out there. We've seen some of them getting ejected from their galaxies, but we think that might be kind of rare when we're talking about like a 1% level event based on our recent observations. With a big uncertainty, and there are many fewer galaxies than there are stars, of course. So the number of rogue supermassive black holes out there could be big, but space is really, really vast.
