The Assyrian empire was bigger than the neo-Babylonian. These refer to the time periods in the first millennium. Both were dramatically superseded by the Persian empire. The Babylonians and Assyrians, you know, both in shall we call it Greater Mesopotamia, they shared in many ways,. Although there were differences, but they shared an intellectual tradition.
