Van Til: If you don't have an absolute to begin with, a comprehensive knowledge, then you're ending up with a world in which there are brute facts. And actually your job is not to build your own platform, but to acknowledge how God has arranged the world. Van Til: In Christian theism and the reformed faith, we have an absolute who is wholly determinative and interpretive of all things before historical process.
