James would have no idea about Zen at this point right I don't think he's I mean certainly seems to know about Buddhist philosophy but yeah maybe Zen hasn't made its way specifically and he doesn't talk about the sort of role of those things.Zen is all about that emptiness is form form is emptiness is a big Zen idea and very much in line with this kind of thing.
