Is There a Proliferation of AI?

In the short term, you'll probably see more things like Dolly and the large language models because those work really well. And so I think it's an open question whether those kind of scaled up, hyperscaled up, statistical approaches are sufficient in the long run. For better or worse, is that like the globally optimal thing to do? Who knows? But a lot more funding is going to go into that.
