Forgiveness is not something that is easy. If you are with someone, if you're hoping to build a life with someone for decades they will sin against you. In 99 point nine % of the cases of our life where people sin against us, it requires our forgiveness. I don't think there's a more underpractised spiritual discipline in the american church than forgiveness. This might take you years of you rehearsing your forgiveness in christ and then refusing to rehearse their offence. Sometimes thit is best done with a therapist, with trusted friends and community.
