How to Talk to the Teacher Without Outing Your Daughter?

In church on Sunday, my 16 year old daughter heard in young women's class that homosexuality is a sin. She rightfully feels hurt, targeted, and says she never wants to go back to church. Do you have suggestions in how I can address this with the teacher who said such a hurtful statement without outing my daughter? Her faith is so fragile right now. While she knows I support her, she definitely does not feel supported at church.
