How to Train for Strength

We lose about 30% of our muscle fibers between like age 25 and 90. That happens, but what they don't tell you is that if you train it, we get to keep 70% of the strength that we had when we were 18 in peak form. The remaining muscle fibers, it turns out, can out, they'll learn how to do more work. They become more efficient and more effective. So you end up being able to perform as if you kept 85, 90% of your strength, which is amazing. It's not just mindset though. This is actually like literally use or lose a VO2 max, it's the same thing.
