Are You Overoptimistic About Your Chances of Finding a Job?
At the outset, these job seekers were overop mystic about their chances of finding a job. How they respond partly depends on whether they're over or under optimistic to begin with. And that difference between that tremen and control group turns out to be hugely critical to then how their beliefs evolve in the experiments. U for those who are assigned to vocational training, during that process, they become even more optimistic about their job prospects. That's in contrast to workers who weren't a side of the vocational training. They're just searching for jobs in the normal manner, while the other group are getting trained. We see them gradually becoming more realistic as they spend more time searching in the job market.
