Samuel T. Cohen was one of the most important and prominent nuclear scientists of the 20th century. He worked at Los Alamos on neutron absorption in Fat Man, the bomb dropped over Nagasaki. In 1984 he suggested Israel should bury nuclear reactors all around its borders to create a zone of radioactive death that would painfully murder anyone who tried to pass through it.
