I've been fascinated by that reveries of death the violent imaginary that often accompanies the speech or the expressions of people who are undergoing melancholic suffering. Two features out of what Stain was describing come very nicely to the forefront one is the idea of the outlaw and you know I don't mean that in a moral sense but obviously I'm sort of riffing on the Laconian idea that psychotic structure is in a sense to be outside of law. There's a wide variety of different modalities of trying to maintain this kind of existence outside of law or outside of prevailing norms whatever so we see a social and symbolic dimension to this how people try to live outside of law in a way.
