If there's only one witness, the person shall not be found guilty on the testimony of one witness because we all know human nature can desire to manipulate the truth or give false testimony. So we're going to see this as we move forward in the future when it comes to the Bible. That there's a need for more than one person to give testimony when the crime is a capital offense. And that's an attempt to do that. Not only that, but we also have the law of justice.
