CHAPTER

Artificial Intelligence Is Overestimated

I think in a few decades you can actually have traffic systems which are completely automated with individualized vehicles. I think it's possible but you have to band human drivers and you should also band pedestrians and bicycles as they create complex non-agorticity. Even if you have many simple systems that should act in coordination it's probably mathematically unsolvable so even then you would have to have very strict rules of how the cars would move. The reason one reason why AI is so overestimated is that in one's own life one isn't aware at all of the complexity of what one is doing all the time.
