Dewey and his assistant Eunice Carter were making some observations about the justice system. They, you know, they were seeing filtering through the justice system were being represented by the same bondsmen and lawyers that worked for Luciano. This sounds like a conspiracy to me. So they said, all right, let's strike while the iron is hot. The pair raided tons of brothels throughout New York in 1936.
