I Think They're in a No-Win Situation

They think they can manage the slow kill. They're betting on whether warfare and mind control are going to work. Neither one of which is going to be completely 100% effective. I don't see any way out of this for them. And even if they are successful, there's something that we are worried about although they will never say it. No matter how successful they may become in their nefarious schemes, they're worried about some sort of intervention from where not on this planet.
