How to Replace or Replant a Tooth After It Has Been Avolved
Hans Rosenberg, EM doc and master educator from Ottawa gives us some tips on what to do with the patient who's had a tooth bash out of their mouth. He says if you adequately treat alcohol withdrawal in the ED, there is zero reason to prescribe benzos at discharge. A flexible splint is exactly what it sounds like. It's something that's going to hold the tooth in place, but it does not require to be something that is going to be very rigid as that's better for the tooth.
