Is There a Way to Stop a Stranger in a Building?

I found letters in my mailbox where he wrote about how he wasted his time on me. A month after that, I left my apartment and heard a crunching sound as I stepped on my doormat. He had put broken glass under it the night before. After those few quiet days, somebody rang the doorbell after just 4am. My neighbors are aware of my situation, and I've asked them to make sure that they do not let strangers in the building. They got him. It took four years, one provocative online post, and one very vigilant and caring neighbor, but he's finally gone. For now, at least.
